This report follows our 2007 report on Management of Asbestos-Related Risks by Government Agencies and 2015 report on Asbestos Management in Public Sector Agencies. We assessed if WorkSafe effectively regulates asbestos removal by issuing and renewing licenses appropriately, and performing risk-based monitoring to reduce the risk of asbestos exposure.
