Working at the OAG

Serving the public interest

The Office of the Auditor General audits over 300 State and local government entities each year, with a combined worth of over $250 billion in assets.

With size comes variety. We audit entities that provide services in education, health, community services, natural resource management, economic development and much more.

Our enabling legislation is the Auditor General Act 2006. Other key legislation informing how we work includes the Financial Management Act 2006 and the Local Government Act 1995.
